Can you tell me about the registration process?
The registration process is a quick process where you will create your Email Raptor account, provide your email information, and then start making your decisions so the Email Raptor can work for you.

What if I do not want to give you my email password?
The Raptor does not want or need your personal email password if possible. For Yahoo! and Gmail accounts, you can create an application specific password that will be created only for the Raptor's access. You can change your personal
password at any time without impacting the Raptor. Should you no longer want the Raptor to have access to your mailbox, simply delete the application specific password at Yahoo! or Gmail.
What is the difference between a Domain Decision and an Email Decision?
An email address contains a domain name, and that domain is the part of the address after the "@" sign. The Email Raptor will allow you to make decisions on the full address or the domain. For example, you might
receive emails from several different people using the same domain name. If you wanted the Raptor to handle them differently, you can make your decisions on the email address. One person's email can be kept for 7 days
where another may be kept for 30 days.
In regards to "shopping" emails, you could receive emails from orders@somedomain.com or news@somedomain.com. This is a perfect use of the Raptor. The news emails can be scheduled for deletion after 2 days, whereas the
order emails can be kept forever.
Can the Raptor empty my Trash and Spam folders?
There are options under the My Account page that will allow you to choose whether or not the Raptor will clean these boxes. Simply choose the account you wish to configure, then note the options towards the bottom
of the page. The Purge Spam Folder and Purge Deleted Folder options will allow you to Enable the purging of your these folders.
You must specifically choose the option to permenantly delete the Spam and Trash contents. If these options are selected, the emails will be removed from your mailbox and cannot be retrieved from the Email Raptor.
The default configuration of the Email Raptor will only MOVE emails into the Trash folder or any other folder selected int he decision process.

the subject line of the email. We will NOT download the message body or content. We will store the sender's email information, date/time, and subject of the emails only to provide that information
